Well, March certainly roared in like a LION!!
Mother Nature continues to show us that she is in charge. After a mild winter, she reminded us tthat “it ain't over until it's over”! With snow, sleet, freezing rain and icy conditions, we had to close the Club twice this month, which leads me to remind you that when we close the Club for weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will reach out by e-mails to all members.
So if you haven't been receiving any e-mail notices please call the office or reach out to any Board of Director member so that we have your correct contact information. This is an important means of reaching out to all members for Friday Night menus and specials, for meeting notices, up to the minute club activities, etc. There was one particular email that Michelyn sent out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon on the deck.....and boom, a party was born!!
The House Committee is charged with overseeing Room Rentals for the Commodore Room. It is a great venue for a birthday party, shower, wedding, collation, family get-together or business meeting. We have firm written contracts for such and dates must be scheduled; so I invite any member or sponsored party to reach out to the office or me at any time.
House Rule #12: Proper attire is required in the Clubhouse at all times unless otherwise posted and formal functions shall be attended as such. Bathing attire and male sleeveless shirts are not permitted; and shoes and shirts are required in the Clubhouse.
